To understand the Chi Machine, one must first understand the word “Chi”. Chi is a Chinese word referring to the life force or life energy that is said to flow in channels through all living forms.
The Chi machine is a box-like device with an “ankle cradle” that moves from side to side. 
It is claimed to oxygenate the body via passive aerobic exercise meaning that the body is experiencing non-impact aerobic exercise. A simple analogy is, if you walked very briskly for 30 minutes, you would oxygenate your blood as much as if you were on the Chi machine for only 5 minutes. “Chiing” for 15 minutes is as aerobic as walking quickly for one and one half hours. How’s that for a time saver?
The original Chi Machine was created by Dr. Shizuo Inoue, Chairman of Japan’s Oxygen Health Association, who has over 38 years of experience. Dr. Inoue’s design was based on human physiology allowing the body to work effortlessly with its own natural frequencies and movement.
Dr. Inoue spent 38 years of his life researching the effects of oxygen on the body and the Chi Machine is the end result of that medical and kinematic research. The Sun Anchon Chi Machine is the original Chi machine and is the only machine available on the market that is classified as a Type 1 medical device by the FDA.
Alveoli
The Chi Machine oscillates from right to left, or left to right, approximately 144 times per minute in a figure-8 motion. This oscillation performs a pure aerobic activity and operates at the best speed to create an oxygen surplus in your body. The motion created by the Chi Machine stimulates and relaxes the sympathetic nervous system, which causes the bronchi and alveoli (tiny tubes which branch out from your lungs) to relax and expand. As these air tubes expand, more oxygen is able to pass from your lungs into your circulatory system, where it travels to all the cells in your body. metabolism, your energy level will be higher! Once you can feel the tingle throughout your body, you will know that you are receiving the full effect of the Chi Machine. Many people have to “work their way up” to being able to use the machine for longer periods of time. It is said that after using the machine for more than 15 minutes the pH in your body actually starts to become more alkaline than acidic, due to the amount of oxygen in your blood. Disease can not grow in an alkaline environment!
The PATENTED PRECISION Sun Anchon Chi Machine adjusts the spine by gently shaking a person from head to toe. This gentle motion simulates a fully body massage of not only muscles, but internal organs, as well.
The user simply lays on the floor with his/her ankles resting on the machine, breathing deeply and thinking happy calming thoughts.
There are three possible arm positions that may be utilized, each designed to stimulate and relieve specific organs and/or ailments.
If you are unable to lay on the bed or floor, we can seat you and chi you from a seated position. We can also place your arms or hands in the cradles to chi your upper body. This will help with circulatory problems for those who have back issues.
