Cellulite can be a tough issue to deal with. Most people think that excess fat is what causes it. Not always the case. Cellulite is caused by a weakness in your skin. Certain muscles of your body push the layer of subcutaneous fat (we all have some) that sits above your muscles up against the inner wall of your skin. If your skin isn’t woven together tightly enough, some places will be smooth and others will have little weak pockets that produce the dimply look that we all hate.
There are many different ways to do cellulite wraps, and here at Alternatives in Health Care Detox Therapy Spa, we use numerous state of the art tools in conjunction with good old fashioned botanical creams and gels to reduce the appearance of cellulite on your thighs and hips.
Our practitioners are skilled at using all of the available techniques which include, micro-current, electric-stim, LED, ultra sound and high frequency machines. My favorite way to help toughen up the skin and help to produce collagen and more elastins, which are the “brick and mortar” of your skin, is skin needling. Collagen Induction Therapy is a great addition to our cellulite wraps. We also have a Far Infra-red Sauna and a full body Far Infra-red suit that may be used to help speed up the detoxification process.
Our cellulite wraps aim to target a few things, tonify your skin’s integrity, detoxify your skin as much as possible and to moisturize the area so that your skin has better texture, more strength and is softer and smoother. We will give you the options and you can let us know which treatment sounds best for you! All of our cellulite wraps take anywhere from 105-115 minutes to do.
