Spa Etiquette and Guidelines

​Please arrive a little early each time that you are coming in for a NEW service so you can fill out the necessary paperwork and have your appointment start on time. Please note that if you arrive late, your treatment will still end as scheduled so as not to inconvenience those with appointments after yours.

Below is a list of answers to other general questions about spa etiquette and our spa policies. If you should have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

​Gratuities

Gratuities are not included with any of our spa services. All full priced service gratuities are at the client’s discretion. It is customary to leave a gratuity of 15-25% of the full cost of the service. If you have a promotional card the required 15% gratuity will be pre-charged and secured with a credit card that we have stored on file. If you have a Groupon the gratuity is a separate charge and should be on the full price, NOT the coupon price. Gratuities are welcome not just for the obvious reason but also because they’re seen as a sign of gratitude for the therapist’s hard work. Our credit card machine doesn’t automatically give you a line to add the gratuity. If you would like to leave your therapist a gratuity on your credit card, please inform the person that is running the credit card to add on how ever much you would like to leave. Sorry about the inconvenience, but your therapist will appreciate your extra effort.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that all appointments be reserved with a major credit card, or valid gift certificate. Your card will NOT be billed until your service has been completed or you have somehow forfeited your scheduled time. You are reserving your time slot, NOt pre-paying for your appointment. We understand that everyone has things that come up – work, kids, or emergencies. However, Many people do not understand that when we make appointments with you, it is not a one-way street. Our staff is waiting to meet with you as much as you are with them. There are many times that other people want the same times or appointments as you, and we cannot accommodate them due to our prior commitment (to you). Many of our services have quite a bit of preparation time and expenses that start before you walk in the door. Many take a few hours to provide and the time that has been reserved for you cannot be refilled if we do not know that you are NOT coming.
We will be happy to reschedule one timely notified appointment at no extra charge! More than one rescheduling will be considered as a cancellation.
We kindly request the courtesy of giving us the following notice for cancellation or rescheduling:
24 hours notice for a single service of 1 hour or less, 48 hours for a single service lasting longer than one hour or for multiple services that total service time is more than 1 hour.

Cancellation Fees

If you choose to cancel a one hour block of time outside of the above time frames, we do charge a $50 CANCELLATION FEE. A time block of more than one hour is a $75 CANCELLATION FEE. If you choose to cancel within 12 hours of your appointment, we do charge the full amount of the scheduled service, as we are less likely to be able to fill the time slot that your appointment occupied. The card that you made your reservation with will be charged accordingly when you make untimely changes to your appointment.
(To clarify: We will not charge your method of payment when you make your appointment, but you will be charged for missed or untimely cancelled appointments according to the previously stated fee schedule.

We strictly adhere to these policies for the benefit of all of our clients, and appreciate your understanding. ** Appointments made within 24 hours are automatically subject to cancellation fees**

Cell Phone Usage

Please don’t forget to turn off your cell phone before entering the spa. If phone usage is a must, please text if possible, please use a soft voice if you must answer the phone and please respect the therapist’s time and not answer the phone at any time while the therapist is working on you.

What to Wear

Your comfort levels and privacy are very important to us, but there are some services that major amounts of skin will have to be exposed to be able to treat it properly. Please don’t feel self conscious, we have seen it all. Many treatments require you to be in a two piece bathing suit, a separate pair of panties and bra, boxers (for men) or we make disposal panties and bras available to you. If you need to use the restroom or leave the room for any reason we do have soft fluffy robes for you.

Children

Some children need help and we can provide certain services for them, but if the service is not for your child, please refrain from bringing small children to the spa.
